A Uniquely Effective Approach to Hands On Healing...

There is only One of us... and there is only Now.

Reiki is a system of energy work that promotes deep healing and can lead to profound transformation. In Japan it is known as Usui Reiki Ryoho, which has been loosely translated as "The Usui System of Natural Healing". The Japanese kanji of rei-ki literally translate as "spirit energy", usually understood as "Universal Life Force Energy". During the Meiji era in Japan, Mikao Usui developed a remarkably effective way of focusing this energy for healing and transformation.

I started practicing hands-on healing in the 70s, with results that were a bit hit & miss. I found that headaches and colds could be reduced or even healed entirely in a few minutes of "laying on of hands", but that was about it using what I knew then. Eventually I learned Reiki, which proved more reliable in getting results.

Eventually I began teaching Reiki as well as practicing it, having become a Reiki Master in the Usui lineage. I soon found that the Reiki techniques I had learned weren't so well known among American Reiki people, since Rita, my Reiki teacher, had added in some useful techniques she had learned from other sources, some she had developed herself, as well as Japanese healing techniques mostly unknown to the American Reiki community at that time.

Since then I have studied and practiced numerous other energy healing techniques... some wise, some otherwise. Now Reiki ( http://nowreiki.com/ ) is truly the best and most comprehensive system I have encountered recently. For those sincerely interested in learning effective energy healing, I recommend it completely.

Now, I'm not attached to what anyone calls any particular technique... Reiki, Quantum-Touch, Regenesis, Matrix Energetics, name-it-after-yourself, whatever... they're all just names for (in some ways) different ways of working (or playing) with energy.

Imagine, what would it be like to find a way of healing that is truly powerful and effective? Like when you begin to experience it, you find that it affects you not only physically, you feel better on all levels in a way that can last and last...

There is only One of us here, and there is only Now. This is the basis of All That Is, and of my connection with anyone I work with. I feel honored when I can focus energy and help someone to heal naturally and quickly. Reiki can accelerate the natural process of healing not only physically, but emotionally as well. It can help restore feelings of balance, energy, peace of mind, as well as helping the body to heal itself of specific conditions, aches and pains.
